Duncan Baker has joined global insurtech Novidea as Reinsurance Product Manager.
He joins the firm after spending a six year period working as a contract business analyst, architect and change consultant specialising within the insurance sector.
Throughout his career across the industry, Baker has worked for a number of major firms.
Between January 2009 – December 2016, he worked at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), where he served as a business analyst. In this role, he had a number of responsibilities, including the implementation/integration studies, requirements gathering and documentation from multiple international regions and units throughout Europe, US and Asia Pacific regions.
Prior to joining AGCS, Baker served as a senior business analyst at leading insurance broker, Marsh.
In addition, between September 2002 – April 2007, Baker worked at RI3K, serving as a business process analyst, where he was responsible for London Market business process analysis, documentation including MRO, LMA, ACORD and LMBC initiatives.
Between April 1999 – December 2001, Baker served as a senior reinsurance technician at Zurich Financial Services, where he helped with assisting the development of reinsurance systems, including SAP implementation.
In November 2022, Novidea appointed Matt Richards as its new Head of UK Delivery.
