Oceanview Reinsurance Ltd., the Bermuda-domiciled reinsurance subsidiary of Oceanview Holdings Ltd., has promoted Stelian Dragan to the newly created role of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Bermuda operations, effective immediately.
In the new role, Dragan will oversee Oceanview Re’s operations as it aims to deliver innovative reinsurance solutions and strengthen its reputation as a trusted partner in the industry.
Dragan, who has over two decades of industry experience, most recently served as the firm’s President and Chief Business Development Officer since April 2022.
He has a proven track record of building relationships and implementing transformative business strategies, with expertise in corporate development, strategic planning, and capital markets.
Dragan previously held leadership roles at Athene Life Re, Bear Stearns, and Deutsche Bank Securities, where he developed expertise in reinsurance solutions, strategic advisory, and capital raising.
