Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the appointment of Odd Kåre Engh Mistereggen as Facultative Broker, EMEA.
Joining the company from rival broker Howden Re, Mistereggen brings a strong analytical approach to complex risk management, drawing on a robust background in project management, retail broking, and reinsurance.
Specialising in P&C risk transfer, captives, and facultative reinsurance, Mistereggen has deep experience in designing bespoke solutions for client exposures across areas including PDBI, CAR/EAR, and casualty.
Before his two-year tenure as a reinsurance broker at Howden Re, the executive spent over five years at Arctic Insurance AS.
He initially joined the company as an Assistant broker in 2020 and was appointed insurance broker two years later. Prior to Arctic Insurance, he served as Project Manager for Insr Insurance Group ASA.
