Specialty insurer Newline Group, which is part of specialty insurer and reinsurer Odyssey Re Holdings Corp. (OdysseyRe), has announced the launch of a new business line dedicated to U.K. and International Affinity & Special Risks solutions.
The new business line sees Newline offer Motor-related Warranty, Non-motor Warranty and value-driven add-ons, such as Excess Waiver policies, says Newline.
The firm also revealed that the new team will be based in London and will be led by Philip Pearce, Senior Underwriter, and also includes John Crossley as Class Underwriter, and Thomas Griggs as Underwriter.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Newline Group, Carl Overy, said; “The Affinity and Special Risks market presents a significant opportunity for Newline in the coming years as we seek to expand our product offerings across new and existing distribution channels.
