Massachusetts-based One80 Intermediaries has purchased broker firm Pearl Insurance for an undisclosed amount.
The purchase of the 350-person company will see One80 take over a firm that operates throughout the US, and reportedly has partnerships with over 100 carriers.
Matthew F. Power, president of One80 Intermediaries, said in a statement: “The team at Pearl Insurance delivers talented and seasoned leadership, a scalable proprietary technology platform, deep marketing expertise, strong carrier relationships, and exceptional client relationships.
“I am thrilled to welcome them to the One80 organization where together we will extend our collective offerings to associations, unions and beyond.”
The last two years have seen One80 make a series of acquisitions, including Brokers’ Risk and Vista Underwriting Partners in 2020.
Last week, it acquired PMC Insurance Group and also picked up, in November, CPro Associates.
