Pacific Life Re has announced the appointment of David Waters as new Director of Underwriting in its Europe Business Unit.
In the new role, Waters will be responsible for helping manage external and internal risk, while developing a strong market profile, providing high-quality service to clients, and supporting the sales and marketing team.
He joins Pacific Life Re from Gen Re, where he was Chief Underwriter. Before this, Waters served as a senior underwriter for over eight years at Legal & General.
Pacific Life Re state that Waters will report to Carl Padget, VP, Head of Claims and Underwriting, and will work closely with Ian Rowe, Director of Claims and Hayley Bloomfield, Senior Underwriting Developer.
