Pacific Life Re, a global provider of mortality, morbidity, and longevity reinsurance solutions, has appointed Elaine Murphy as Head of Risk, Asia and Australia.
Within this role, she will be based in Singapore.
Murphy joined the firm in 2018 where she served as a Director, and was based in London.
After serving in that role for nearly three years, she was then promoted to Head of Risk, Europe.
Prior to joining Pacific Life Re, Murphy spent eight years serving as a Consulting Actuary at leading pensions and financial services consultancy, Hymans Robertson.
Further, in 2021, Pacific Life Re launched a new Medical Analytics team to further strengthen the firms analytics and emerging risk capabilities.
Additionally, Pacific Life Re entered into a partnership in 2021 with ThaiRe Life Assurance PCL, to provide sustainable life reinsurance solutions to Thailand-based life insurance operators.
