Life reinsurer Pacific Life Re has announced the appointment of Justin LaHood as its new Head of Tax.
Based in London, LaHood will be responsible for managing tax activities across Pacific Life Re globally, with a focus on strategy, coordination, and compliance.
He has more than 20 years’ experience as a tax professional both as an advisor and in-house, and has worked at a variety of insurance and reinsurance companies throughout his career.
LaHood joins Pacific Life Re from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a Partner and Global Financial Services Tax Technology Leader; having previously held senior roles at AIG and Swiss Re.
