Pacific Life Re has announced two new appointments at its Asia operation, in Navarat Kriausakul (Pi) and Nuttanate Pongpipatpaiboon (Nueng).
Pi has been named Director, Product Development, a newly created role, while Nueng has been appointed Director, Projects and Pricing, both will be based in the company’s Singapore office.
Reporting to Jeff Cook, Head of Underwriting and Claims in Asia, Pi will play a key role in leading the company’s business growth by promoting the firm’s product development capabilities. She has been with Pacific Life Re for four years, and held a number of positions across its business development and pricing units.
“Pi will be instrumental in ensuring that we consistently deliver innovative, well thought out product propositions to our clients across Asia. We see tremendous untapped opportunities to creatively bring solutions designed to enhance our existing service offerings and creating new products to reach out to the underinsured, whilst always keeping the diverse needs of Asia’s population in mind,” said Cook.
Nueng has more than ten years of direct insurance and reinsurance experience and has worked in a number of roles across pricing and valuation, in both local and regional firms. Reporting to Joanne Yeo, Head of Pricing in Asia, she will be the key lead from the Asia pricing division, supporting clients’ needs and insurance solutions.
Commenting on the appointment, Yeo said; “We are pleased to welcome Nueng on board the team. She comes with significant knowledge and experience, and will play an instrumental role in supporting our strong Asia pricing team of 13 people.”
