Hunter Point Capital (HPC), an independent investment firm providing capital solutions to alternative asset managers, has hired Phillip Titolo as a Managing Director and Head of Insurance Solutions, effective January 29, 2024.
In his new role, Titolo will be responsible for helping HPC and the firm’s GP partners build strategic relationships with the insurance community.
This will include structuring capital-efficient vehicles and investments for insurers through HPC’s recently launched GP Financing Solutions (GPFS) platform, which offers NAV-based loans and preferred financing solutions to established investment managers.
GPFS is co-led by industry veterans Richard Golaszewski and Stephen Swentzel, and its growing team includes specialist Alvin Butler.
It is different from HPC’s GP Stakes business but still integrated into HPC’s overall platform, the firm explained.
Titolo’s appointment adds domain expertise to the GP Financing Solutions Platform, the firm expressed.
