People’s Insurance Company of China (PICC) has announced an International Warranty Service (IWS) strategic cooperation with vape brand GEEKVAPE.
The agreement involves a product safety liability insurance policy with a coverage of up to 1 billion yuan (US$ 160 million).
The International Warranty Service will act as an additional protection and commitment provided by GEEKVAPE to consumers.
PICC said that it selected GEEKVAPE as a partner following a comprehensive investigation and evaluation of GEEKVAPE’s product quality, brand awareness, overall robustness, credit rating and market feedback.
This cooperation includes the whole line of GEEKVAPE products and its sub-brand GEEKBAR.
PICC is a Chinese listed insurer, of which the Chinese Central Government is the controlling shareholder.
