Global aerospace re/insurance broker Piiq Risk Partners has hired Sylvain Devouge to serve in Paris as a senior partner; he reports to Mark Costin, senior partner.
Sylvain will work across all aviation industry disciplines, developing re/insurance expertise and solutions, and will be responsible for the drafting and negotiation of re/insurance documentation, contractual risk mitigation and claims advisory.
He brings 15 years of expertise to Piiq, the last five of which he spent with Swiss Re legally advising on commercial re/insurance contracts as a senior contract specialist.
Prior to this, he was head of Marsh France’s aviation contracts and claims team, where he built extensive relationships with large aerospace manufacturers, maintenance, repair and overhaul companies as well as airline clients.
