Polo Managing Agency (PMA), a prominent name in the Lloyd’s insurance market, has unveiled an exciting collaboration with DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 technology services firm.

This strategic partnership will empower PMA’s clientele to leverage DXC’s cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning-powered solutions, marking a significant step towards modernisation within the industry.

The core of this collaboration introduces PMA’s customers to DXC Assure Commercial and Specialty, a robust cloud solution that operates on an API and microservice-oriented platform.

This platform offers end-to-end insurance services, aligning seamlessly with Lloyd’s of London’s modernisation strategy, known as Blueprint Two. Under this blueprint, insurers are urged to embrace digitisation and meet specific requirements by the end of 2024, a challenge that DXC Assure confidently addresses.

Commenting on this pivotal partnership, Paul Andrews, Chief Executive Officer of PoloWorks and Polo Managing Agency, emphasized, “As the market embraces digitisation and the integration of new technological initiatives, Polo’s partnership with DXC places us in the best possible position to adopt and integrate modern technology and the emerging wave of machine learning initiatives starting to appear in our market.”

DXC Assure is designed to simplify processes while effectively managing IT expenditures, providing cost-effective solutions that can benefit PMA’s managed syndicates and bolster the Lloyd’s market.

The platform offers users a modern and visually engaging experience, promising an enhanced workflow for insurance professionals.

DXC Assure Commercial and Specialty will not only cater to the evolving needs of PMA’s customers but also support the continued growth of PMA’s turn-key managing agency, including its latest offering, Wildfire SIAB, Syndicate 1996.

By implementing DXC Assure as a service, PMA’s customers can expect to save costs and time associated with acquiring, managing, and maintaining hardware and software.

Mark Broadhurst, Managing Director Insurance Europe of DXC Technology, expressed enthusiasm about this collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to work closely with PoloWorks. This service will allow their customers in the London Market to access a cost-effective and cutting-edge solution that will help them implement and reap the benefits of Blueprint Two.”
