POP names Nicole Coleby as Managing Partner of Operations

Pop Group Holdings (POP) has announced the appointment of Nicole Coleby as Managing Partner of Operations.

In her newly formed role, Coleby will oversee operations across POP’s key entities, including Fusion Specialty M&A and Financial Lines MGAs, and io.insure, its dedicated small to mid-market InsurTech and M&A Tech platform.

This entails managing teams both locally and globally and leading the strategic direction of Delegated Underwriting Authority, Operations, Finance, People, Legal & Compliance teams.

Nicole Coleby, an industry veteran with nearly two decades of experience, was most recently the Chief Operating Officer at Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Company of Australia (Adica).

She brings a wealth of expertise from her background in analytics, portfolio management, and operations, with a significant portion of her career spent at QBE Insurance.

Coleby’s appointment aligns with POP’s aggressive expansion plans and underscores its commitment to pioneering tech-enabled M&A and specialty products in selected markets. She will report to POP’s co-founders and co-CEOs, Killian McDermott and David Rogers.

Killian McDermott, co-founder, and co-CEO of POP expressed delight at Nicole’s appointment, highlighting her capabilities in leading global operations teams.

David Rogers, co-founder, and co-CEO emphasised the importance of strengthening strategic operations and aligning them with tech capabilities for long-term resilience and competitiveness.
