Placing Platform Limited (PPL) has introduced its new underwriter dashboard to help users manage high volumes of business activity on the platform.
Functioning like a worklist, the updated dashboard structure and user interface will help underwriters to locate work items easily and highlight outstanding tasks.
The new underwriter dashboard enables users to quickly understand the nature and volume of work items through clearer categorisation, an improved interface for searching and selecting items, personalised dashboards with saved filtered views, and visibility of MI and tasks at both individual and team levels.
This functionality builds on the user interface framework first deployed with the rollout of Express Contract functionality in September.
Prioritised by PPL’s Market Governance Committees, the underwriter dashboard was developed in collaboration with carriers and informed through structured end-user research across several firms.

This announcement follows PPL entering a multi-year agreement with Microsoft last month to accelerate its transition from a transaction platform to a data-driven trading hub.
