Prevensure Group, a provider of re/insurance broking, underwriting services, and bespoke risk management solutions, has announced the appointment of Chandan Thakur as Divisional Director – Cyber & Financial Lines for its Prevensure Re team.
Prevensure Re is the reinsurance broking arm of Prevensure group, based in Dubai.
The group recently stated, “With his expertise and experience, we are excited to reach new milestones together.”
Thakur brings over 12 years of experience in re/insurance, with expertise in underwriting and broking, specialising in financial lines, cyber, D&O, crime, and general insurance.
He joins Prevensure Re from Chedid Re, where he most recently served as Associate Director, overseeing financial lines across the MEA region, including the Indian subcontinent.
Prior to that, Thakur spent six years at SBI General Insurance, where he most recently served as Underwriting Manager.
