Price Forbes, a specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has announced the appointment of Malcolm Payton to its senior leadership team, effective 9th December 2026.
Based in London, Payton will report to John Thompson, CEO, Specialty Broking. In his new role, he will work closely with the Price Forbes and Price Forbes Re leadership teams to help shape commercial strategy and drive market engagement.
He brings more than 40 years of industry experience, with expertise in leadership, production, and team development.
Payton joins Price Forbes from Gallagher Specialty, where he served as Chief Executive Officer, Property, Casualty & Insurance Solutions, and Head of Global Facultative.
Prior to that, he was Managing Partner, Global Facultative at Capsicum Re, and Managing Director and Head of Facultative, London & Europe at Guy Carpenter. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at JLT Re and Aon.
