Price Forbes Re, an independent reinsurance broker, has announced the appointments of Alexander Ehrlich as Senior Vice President, Life & Health reinsurance, and Younkyung Cho as Vice President, Business Development Actuary.
Both Ehrlich and Cho will report to Isaac Sanday, Global Head of Life & Health at Price Forbes Re.
In their new roles, Ehrlich and Cho will partner with the Life & Health division to further strengthen Price Forbes Re’s capabilities in the bulk purchase annuity/pension risk transfer market, as well as enhance its reinsurance advisory and end-to-end reinsurance transaction structuring expertise.
Ehrlich joins Price Forbes Re from Aviva, where he spent nine years, most recently serving as Annuities Reinsurance and Structuring Execution Lead. Earlier in his career, he also held roles at Aquila Heywood and PwC.
Cho brings nearly 20 years of industry experience and joins the firm from Swiss Re, where she spent over a decade in various roles, including Senior Risk Actuary, Regional Partner EMEA, and Senior Global Pricing Actuary. Most recently, she served as Longevity Pricing Actuary.
Prior to that, Cho was Senior Pricing Actuary – Enhance Annuity at SCOR and began her career at Groupama Insurance Company Limited as a Statistic Analyst.
These appointments continue to build out Price Forbes Re’s Life & Health team following the addition of Isaac Sanday and Sanjay Shah last year.
