Price Forbes, a specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has strengthened its Singapore team with the addition of Rajiv Ramakrishnan as Head of Accident & Health (A&H).
He will report directly to Dick Heath, Head of Reinsurance and Wholesale, and assumes his responsibilities immediately.
In this capacity, Rajiv will drive the growth of Price Forbes’ A&H services throughout Southeast Asia and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The appointment comes amid rising pressures on insurers, including healthcare costs outpacing general inflation and sustained post-pandemic demand for A&H coverage.
Focusing on bridging gaps in cedants’ portfolios, he will collaborate with carriers to introduce new primary insurance products across critical illness, lump-sum benefits, travel, and other A&H segments.
Rajiv brings nine years of experience from Liberty Mutual Insurance, where he most recently served as Vice President, A&H Insurance Products in Thailand. His background also includes five years in health economics within the pharmaceutical and hospital sectors.
