Privilege Underwriters, Inc. and the affiliated companies of the PURE Group of Insurance Companies have announced two key leadership appointments: Drew Saad as Chief Underwriting Officer and Dea Malollari as Chief Risk Officer.
Martin Leitch, CEO at PURE, expresses enthusiasm for the appointments, stating, “we will focus on continuing to deliver greater value for our members, while ensuring the sustainability of our businesses, and Drew and Dea play pivotal roles in those objectives.”
In his new position, Saad will lead PURE’s Underwriting and Product teams. With nearly 15 years of experience, he brings expertise in small business and mid-market commercial lines insurance, gained from his tenure at Allstate, Farmers Insurance, and Zurich Insurance Group.
Saad shared his excitement for the new role, noting “I am very excited to embark on this journey to build on PURE’s amazing reputation for serving our members and broker partners.”
Malollari, now appointed as Chief Risk Officer, will continue to fulfill her current duties as Chief Actuary. Additionally, in her new capacity, she will lead PURE’s Risk Steering Committee and act as the intermediary between PURE’s internal audit team and Tokio Marine Holdings’ risk management group.
Malollari has been with PURE for over a year, previously holding leadership roles at Allianz Partners and Liberty Mutual Insurance, bringing over 17 years of experience.
