QBE, an Australian-based insurer has promoted Debbi Wood to Head of Reinsurance Claims.
An experienced veteran within the industry, Wood has worked at QBE for nearly two decades.
She joined the firm in 2003 as a Senior Claims Adjuster, and would serve in that role for just over 19 years.
In 2010, QBE then appointed Wood to Assistant Claims Manager of its European operations. She would go on to hold this role for just over 13 years.
Further, in 2019, Wood was also named Financial & Specialty Markets Claims Manager, and would go on to serve in this role for just over four years in addition to her other roles.
In its full-year results, QBE reported a net profit of $770 million, representing a $20 million increase from the previous year.
