British Marine, a marine insurer and part of QBE Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Richard Inman as Portfolio Manager, British Marine P&I.
In his new role, Inman will be responsible for delivering British Marine’s planned P&I underwriting results, as well as shaping the strategy for insurance risks across the portfolio.
He brings more than 13 years of industry experience, with a strong track record in technical underwriting, relationship management, business development, and managing complex policies and renewals.
He joins British Marine from Tindall Riley & Co., managers of the insurance mutual Britannia P&I Club, where he most recently served as Associate Director and Senior Underwriter across specialist mutual insurance in London and Hong Kong. In this role, he was accountable for a portfolio of major international shipping clients.
