Jo Williams, a seasoned leader in property catastrophe and risk modelling, has been appointed as the new Head of Insurance Sales at Reask, a science and technology company focusing on extreme weather modelling.
Williams’ extensive experience in aligning climate-driven extreme weather risk with strategic insurance solutions makes her uniquely suited to drive the increased adoption of Reask’s proprietary algorithms and data sets across re/insurance and ILS markets, the firm stated.

The executive brings over a decade of experience in customer facing roles at RMS, Aon, Lloyds and most recently Howden Re, serving as Head of Business Development.
At Howden Re, she was responsible for driving revenue growth for TigerEye, the firm’s reinsurance and portfolio management software solution.
Her career began in client-facing solution and product roles at RMS and Aon, where she developed a strong foundation in catastrophe modelling and re/insurance analytics.

Her appointment follows the naming of Joss Matthewman as Chief Revenue Officer, as well as Reask’s latest fundraising round which was led by InsuResilience Investment Fund Private Equity II (IIF II), managed by BlueOrchard Finance Ltd.
