Reassured, the life insurance broker, has announced a partnership with data and AI consultancy FOIL AI aimed at enhancing its data infrastructure, expanding internal expertise and improving the customer experience across the insurance lifecycle.
The agreement supports Reassured’s objective of operating with a stronger data-led approach. By applying advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, the company intends to improve how it identifies and engages individuals who may lack sufficient life cover, while also providing more effective, ongoing support to customers over time.
During an initial nine-month phase, FOIL AI has worked with Reassured to review and consolidate previously fragmented customer data sources. This process has created a more unified, end-to-end view of customer interactions.
By integrating structured application data with insights drawn from customer call transcripts, the initiative is building a stronger evidence base to guide decision-making and determine suitable “next best actions” for both advisers and customers.
The application of AI-powered analytics and customer segmentation is expected to enable Reassured to adapt more effectively to shifts in customers’ circumstances, enhance journeys so they feel more relevant and seamless, and strengthen post-sale engagement through more precisely targeted communications.
The partnership also addresses the sector-wide issue of customer non-disclosure. By examining medical information alongside call data, Reassured seeks to uncover potential omissions or misunderstandings in the details provided. This approach is designed to improve consistency, manage risk more effectively, and promote fairer outcomes for customers.
A further component of the collaboration centres on long-term capability development. Through FOIL AI’s two-year talent programme, specialist data and AI expertise is being embedded within Reassured’s teams. The programme is designed not only to increase analytical capacity but also to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and skills internally to support sustained growth.
