US insurance brokerage Relation Insurance Services has acquired the assets of Chinook Insurance Group, LLC, a commercial insurance brokerage that specialises in the subsea and aquaculture industries, among others.
Based in Seattle, Washington, Chinook Insurance Group has additional expertise across directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, professional liability, cyber, and kidnap and ransom.
Christopher Trainer, chief executive officer of Chinook Insurance Group, said: “We’re excited to join a growing team like Relation.
“Being backed by Relation’s resources, capabilities, and nationwide carrier relationships will enable us to greatly enhance our service and offerings to our clients.”
The transaction went into effect on December 31, 2025; terms were not disclosed.
