Resolution Life names Moses Ojeisekhoba as new CEO

The Board of Directors of Resolution Life, a global life insurance group focusing on reinsurance and the acquisition and management of portfolios of life insurance companies, has appointed Moses Ojeisekhoba as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1st, 2026.

Resolution Life logoIn his new role, Ojeisekhoba succeeds Sir Clive Cowdery, Founder, Chairman and CEO, who will continue in his role as Executive Chairman and also assist Nippon Life in further expanding internationally.

Ojeisekhoba joined Resolution Life as President in October 2024 from Swiss Re, where he spent over 12 years in multiple senior executive positions.

Since then, he has led the team to a year of record capital deployment, directed the reinsurer’s market-facing division, and worked on integrating Resolution Life into Nippon Life throughout 2025.

Cowdery, whose first business under the Resolution Life brand was formed in 2003, has been at the forefront of the life insurance consolidation sector for over two decades.

The completion of the acquisition of Resolution Life by Nippon Life marks the fourth time Cowdery has founded, built and sold a consolidation and reinsurance company, raising and deploying more than $20 billion of equity to support the global life insurance industry.
