Risk Cooperative, a risk and insurance advisory firm and coverholder at Lloyd’s, has announced a series of key executive appointments and governance changes as it looks to accelerate growth.
Andres Franzetti, one of Risk Cooperative’s co-founders and former Head of Strategy, has been named as President and Chief Operating Officer with full strategic and operational accountability.
Dante Disparte, Risk Cooperative’s founder, will transition to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer leading long-range strategy.
In addition, Noah Skillin, also one of the company’s co-founders, will serve as the company’s Chief Risk Officer responsible for overall enterprise risk management.
Risk Cooperative says this organisational change signals the company exited from the startup phase, and will continue anchoring key business lines.
“Andres Franzetti is one of the most capable leaders in the risk and insurance industry who has contributed immeasurably to Risk Cooperative’s success over the years,” said Dante Disparte, Risk Cooperative’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
“Recognizing the accelerated pace of our growth, along with a growing team and strategic partnerships calls for evolved design, strategy and governance.”
Franzetti added, “I’m humbled by the opportunity to lead Risk Cooperative as we enter our fifth year of trade.”
“We have assembled one of the most talented and diverse teams in the insurance and risk management industries, not to mention our customers and partners who rely on us for innovative approaches to resilience in an increasingly unpredictable world.”
