RLI Corp, a specialty insurer serving niche property, casualty and surety market, has announced the appointment of Clark C. Kellogg to its Board of Directors.
Kellogg’s term will be effective January 1, 2024 and will expire in May 2024 at RLI’s next shareholders’ meeting, at which time he will stand for re-election, according to the announcement.
A basketball commentator at CBS Sports, Kellogg has over three decades of experience with the Indiana Pacers as a player, broadcaster and Vice President of Player Relations.
He serves on the First Merchants Corporation Board of Directors, where he is a member of the Audit and Compensation and Human Resources Committees. Kellogg also serves as Chairperson of the Columbus Foundation Governing Committee, and formerly served on The Ohio State University Board of Trustees from 2010 to 2019.

RLI Corp. has also recently announced a new appointment within its Risk Services team. Phil Brodeur was named Vice President of Risk Services, replacing Chris Randall, who will be retiring in February 2024.
Brodeur was promoted from his role as Assistant Vice President, Risk Services. He joined RLI in 2007 as an intern and served in various actuarial roles with increasing responsibility since then.
