Robert Cooper joins MNK International to lead Aquaculture, Livestock and Bloodstock expansion

MNK International, a specialist Lloyd’s of London insurance broker and part of MNK Group, has appointed Robert Cooper as Managing Director – Aquaculture, Livestock & Bloodstock as the company continues to expand its global agricultural and specialty insurance portfolio.

Based in London, Cooper has joined MNK International with responsibility for developing a diversified international portfolio across aquaculture, livestock and bloodstock.

His responsibilities also includes broader agricultural and farm combined business, alongside opportunities to expand into related specialist classes. According to MNK International, the appointment supports its long-term strategy of growth within specialist and high-value market segments.

Cooper has more than ten years of experience in global insurance markets. Prior to joining MNK International, he spent almost five years at Price Forbes as Divisional Director, where he developed a substantial portfolio across livestock, bloodstock and aquaculture. He has also previously held a role at Lycetts.

MNK International said Cooper’s appointment is intended to strengthen its capabilities in specialist agricultural lines, drawing on the wider resources of MNK Group, including its specialty expertise, integrated managing general agent (MGA) capabilities and entrepreneurial operating model.
