Rokstone Agriculture, part of the international speciality re/insurance MGA Rokstone, has announced the appointment of Jessica Rusnak as Senior Underwriter, Farm & Ranch.

Rokstone logoIn her new role, Rusnak will focus on driving new opportunities in both admitted and non-admitted classes, enhancing efficiency and quality, and harnessing the advanced technology and data-driven capabilities of the Rokstone ATOMX ecosystem to deliver underwriting and service excellence across the agriculture lifecycle.

She brings more than 15 years of industry experience across underwriting, operations, product, and compliance.

Rusnak joins Rokstone after a decade at Westfield Insurance, where she progressed from Market Underwriter to Operations Manager, and ultimately to Underwriting Practices and Quality Assurance Manager.

She also recently served as Chair of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) Commercial & Personal Lines (CPL) Seminar.

Rokstone Agriculture’s Farm & Ranch division has experienced record growth this year, driven by increasing demand for its diverse range of specialist risks. The division has a deep understanding of the complex exposures currently facing the US agriculture industry.

Joshua Lauth, President of Rokstone Agriculture Farm and Ranch, said, “Jessica is a fantastic addition to our growing team. Not only does she understand the unique set of challenges facing the farming community, but she brings a desire to always make things better; whether that be harnessing technology to drive advanced decision making, responding faster to emerging risks, differentiating on service, or delivering compliance confidence for both carriers and agents alike. She has the skills and expertise to make things happen.”

Rusnak commented, “Rokstone has a culture of autonomy, entrepreneurialism, and empowerment unlike anything I’ve seen before, and certainly different from what you’ll see with legacy brands. It gives me an opportunity to make a real impact, to drive growth, and get back to doing what I love best. I know Josh and the team well from their time at Westfield, and I already feel like part of the family.”
