Speciality re/insurance MGA, Rokstone has appointed Jo Lambe as Digital Product Development Manager, as part of the company’s expansion within its digital underwriting team.
Lambe, who holds over 20 years of experience with underwriting complex commercial insurance, will be responsible for the digital transformation of Rokstone’s existing products and leading the development of new native digital products.
She joins from Simply Business where she spent nine years as an underwriter responsible for the growth and profitability of some of its major accounts, and latterly as its Technical MGA Manger overseeing the creation and suitability of products, responsible for product governance and fair value product reviews.
Prior to that she spent 10 years with Aviva as a Commercial Underwriter and four years as an underwriter with Ecclesiastical.
Lambe’s appointment is part of a multi-million pound investment being made by Aventum in the digital transformation of the Group that was announced last year.
Tony Lawrence, Chief Digital Distribution Officer at Aventum, comments: “We’re delighted to welcome Jo on board. She’s joining us on an exciting journey as we continue our growth and in particular our digital transformation strategy. Jo is highly experienced and is passionate about digital solutions.
“As part of the digital underwriting team, she will be helping us to execute a multi-country, multi-product roadmap, while diving deep to understand customer needs, market practices, and product financials to structure and negotiate partnerships that drive value to customers, partners, and Aventum.”
Lambe added: “I’ve been incredibly lucky in my career to work for some of the best brands in the market leading the way in digital underwriting.
“Aventum is an incredibly attractive proposition; it has a great culture and is on an exciting path. I relish the opportunity to join such a fast growing, entrepreneurial, highly focussed team and to be a part of that journey at a stage where I can really add value working on major transformational projects.”
