Rokstone, an international specialty re/insurance managing general agent (MGA) and part of the Aventum Group, has announced the appointment of Muhammad Haris as Senior Aviation Underwriter, effective February 1.
In his new role, based in Dubai, Haris will be reporting to international head of aviation, Lee Henry and ultimately global head of aviation Jordan Lanford.
Haris joined Rokstone from specialist insurance and reinsurance broker AI12, where he served as Aviation Regional Manager following his over six-years tenure as Aviation Underwriter at Sukoon Insurance.
Prior to that he worked as an Operation Policy Office at Oman Insurance Company.

The MGA has also recently announced the appointment of Ian Anson as Global CEO, who has been part of the company since 2020.
Rokstone also named James Potter as Chairman. As he will also continue to serve as Deputy CEO of Aventum, he will be actively engaged in both the daily operations and the strategic direction of the organization, the firm noted.
