Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers (RSUM), the underwriting management division of Ryan Specialty, has announced the promotion of Mike Benvenuto to Chief Operating Officer.
Based in Chicago, Benvenuto brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience.
Most recently, he served as Chief Procurement Officer at Ryan Specialty, driving performance across Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, Supply Chain Sustainability, Corporate Real Estate, and Business Continuity Planning to support the firm’s growth, operational, and expense objectives.
Before joining Ryan Specialty, Benvenuto spent nearly 17 years at Aon, where he most recently served as Global Chief Procurement Officer.
Earlier in his career, he held roles at JPMorgan Chase, Deloitte, and Gartner.
