RT Specialty, LLC, a subsidiary of Ryan Specialty Group,has promoted Todd Mannschreck to the role of President of Claims, Chief Claims Officer.
Mannschreck had led the claims function at RT Specialty since he joined the company in 2013, being based out of the firms Kansas City office.
Since he joined, the RT Specialty claims team has more than tripled in size, in response to the firms growth and reflecting its commitment to providing a best in class claims service to clients.
RT Specialty believes that operating a claims department is a differentiator, as within the wholesale industry this is not a common practice.
The claims department services retail broker partners and their clients, offering technical knowledge to assist with coverage disputes as well as facilitating the claim process and providing assistance in settlement negotiations.

Before he joined RT Specialty, Mannschreck was a Senior Claims / Litigation Supervisor for Ferrellgas, LP in Liberty, Missouri, where he led supervision and direction of TPA’s and attorneys on large exposure and litigated claims. Prior to that he worked for GAB Robins in Overland Park, Kansas, supervising claims for insurance companies and self-insured accounts and acting as Team Leader for the department.
