RT Specialty, the wholesale brokerage division of Ryan Specialty, has announced the promotion of Will Jacob to the Chicago-based role of President, RT Connector.
Jacob has been with Ryan Specialty for nearly a decade, having most recently served as Chief Underwriting Officer for RT Connector, having joined the digital platform team during its early stages.
Under his leadership, the platform has focused on speed, simplicity, and efficiency, allowing users to streamline marketing and gain instant access to a wide range of products and services across diverse risks and carriers.
With Will’s guidance and collaboration with the RT Connector team members, each product within the electronic marketplace is crafted to deliver immediate solutions, eliminating paperwork and reducing friction.
Any risk that falls outside RT Connector’s appetite is automatically referred to an RT Specialty underwriter or broker for expert handling, the firm explained.
