SanlamAllianz, a Pan-African non-banking financial services company formed jointly by Sanlam and Allianz, has recently appointed Nakesh Dussee as Facultative Reinsurance Underwriter, Property & Engineering for the Francophone market.
Vashish Reetoo, Executive Head of Facultative at SanlamAllianz, expressed his enthusiasm for Dussee’s appointment, stating, “Nakesh brings a wealth of experience from the construction and risk control industry and we are confident that he shall contribute positively to enhance our value proposal to our partners.”
Dussee joins SanlamAllianz from SOCOTEC, where he spent five years, most recently serving as Executive Assistant, Deputy Director.
Prior to that, he worked briefly as a Site Engineer at Ramasawmy & Ramasawmy Co Ltd.
He also gained experience as a Trainee Civil Engineer at Mauritius Ports Authority and Property Design and Management Consultants Ltd.
