Lorcán Hall has been appointed as Head of Business Model Development & Corporate Foresight at French reinsurer SCOR.
In this Zurich-based role, he will work to pilot and scale internal innovations and work with non-traditional partners to co-create risk and resilience solutions.
These solutions will aim to deliver commercial and social benefits linked to sustainable development goals including economic prosperity, social inclusion, environmental sustainability and good governance.
Hall previously worked at Hannover Re, where his five-year tenure culminated in a role as Head of Life & Health Digital Business Accelerator.
Previously, Hall has also held positions as Head of Change & Technology at Legal & General and as Head of Operations & IT (Europe) at financial services firm Hansard.
He has also served as a Management Consultant to companies including Aviva, FNZ Ireland, Vera Financial, BearingPoint, Blackrock Clinic, EITR, Oxbow Partners and RGAX.
Hall said he was “very happy to share” the news of his appointment and to “evolve the re/insurance value proposition for our increasingly complex world.”
