SEADRIF Insurance Company, a Singapore-based insurer, has announced the appointment of Xinmei Zheng as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Zheng brings close to two decades of experience in the non-life insurance and reinsurance sectors, along with extensive knowledge of the Southeast Asian market.
Her global and regional insights are further enhanced by her experience living and working across Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
With a professional background encompassing underwriting, portfolio management, structured risk solutions, and business development, she has held regional leadership positions at industry giants Munich Re and Swiss Re.
During her time at Munich Re, she worked as Senior Client Manager serving as the Capital Partners Lead for SouthEast Asia, and had mon-life market responsibility for Vietnam.
At Swiss Re, Zheng served as Head of Client Markets (HK & Taiwan), leading SR non-life lines re/insurance business across treaty and facultative in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau. Prior to that she was a Market Underwriter (SEA) and Senior Structurer (Asia/UK).
Throughout her career in the ASEAN region, she has collaborated closely with insurance companies to develop strategies focused on innovation, growth, and capital.
