Everest Insurance, a division of Bermuda-based reinsurer Everest Re, has appointed Ironshore’s Sharone Menczel Poopor as a Vice President (VP) within its Structured Solutions group.
Based in the firm’s Liberty Corner, NJ office, she will be responsible for underwriting unusual and complex risks, offering clients a range of bespoke underwriting solutions.
She joins from Ironshore, where she was most recently Senior Vice President (SVP) / Senior Managing Underwriter in the Special Risk unit.
Prior to this, she worked in the Product Innovation Group and Private equity / Financial Institutions groups at the firm. Her insurance industry career began with AIG.
