Zug, Switzerland-based reinsurer SIGNAL IDUNA Reinsurance Ltd. (SI Re) has appointed Dr. Arnold Löw as its new Chief Executive Officer, with Bertrand R. Wollner remaining in the role until his retirement on April 30, 2025, and Dr. Löw taking over on May 1, 2025.
Löw holds over two decades of experience in reinsurance, gained through various leadership roles at Swiss Re. Most recently, he served as Head of Customer & Distribution Management for P&C Solutions in the EMEA region.
Commenting on his new role, Löw said, “I look forward to my new role as CEO of SI Re. Bertrand and his team have built a reinsurer over the years that is renowned for its solidity and client focus.
“Together with the SI Re team, I will continue this course in the best interests of our ceding companies and the SIGNAL IDUNA Group.”
