Global specialty re/insurer, SiriusPoint, has appointed Phil Wooldridge as Head of London US Casualty.
Based in London, Wooldridge will start his new role on September 5 and will be reporting to Head of London and International Casualty, Nick Pascall.
He brings more than 25 years of experience in the US Casualty markets, and working with the existing team, will focus on growing SiriusPoint’s US Casualty treaty book.
Wooldridge joins SiriusPoint from MS Amlin Syndicate, where he spent 12 years in various roles, most recently as Chief Underwriting Officer, Reinsurance, and prior to that as Head of Casualty (London Reinsurance) and Global Product lead (US Casualty Reinsurance).
He was previously at Argo Group as a US Liability Class Underwriter, a position he held for two years. Wooldridge started his career as a liability underwriter at Faraday in London.
