Speciality insurer AmWINS Group has announced the launch of an SME division within its London-based MGA Unicorn Underwriting. The launch signals the appointments of Kevin Hawkins as U.K. SME Underwriting Director and Richard Ellis as U.K. SME Pricing Director, effective immediately.
Alongside the previously available unoccupied residential and commercial property policies Unicorn will offer SMEs commercial combined, retailers, office & surgery and property owners products.
Hawkins and Ellis bring over three decades of combined experience in the underwriting and pricing of commercial SME business. The pair join from LV=Broker, where they spent they spent 11 years building and managing SME accounts.
