SSP Broker appoints Christian Wright as new Head of Market Development

SSP Broker has appointed Christian Wright as its new Head of Market Development, where he will drive the company’s future growth plans.

handshake-bwIn his new role, Wright will focus on strengthening relationships with brokers, ensuring they have optimal insurance software to manage customers and policies seamlessly.

Martyn Mathews, Managing Director of SSP Broker, expresses his enthusiasm for Wright’s appointment, stating, “Christian’s expertise will be crucial to SSP Broker as we continue to develop an agile insurance ecosystem that keeps pace with the ever-changing insurance regulatory landscape and evolving consumer buying behaviour.”

“His wealth of experience will enable us to reflect on our market from an external perspective, which is hugely valuable. It will bring fresh focus on the broker experience, underscoring our commitment to client-centricity as we rebuild trust in the SSP Broker proposition,” Mathews adds.

With extensive leadership experience in broker and insurer relationship management, Wright brings valuable expertise to his new role. Prior to joining SSP Broker, he served as Head of Business Development at Ignite for over two years.

Before that, Wright worked as CDL Software for 21 years, most recently serving as its Lead Business Development Manager.

Excited about his new position, Wright notes, “As SSP continues to invest significantly in the infrastructure of the business, it’s certainly an exciting time to be joining the established team. In a competitive market, it is vital that brokers are able to access a broad, constantly developing range of insurance products, with an administration platform flexible enough to compare rates and coverage from multiple providers.”
