Starr Companies launches Canadian Accident & Health unit

Starr Companies has launched its Accident & Health Division in Canada, which offers coverage for business travel accident, group basic and voluntary accidental death & dismemberment, critical illness, and emergency out-of-province medical.

Starr CompaniesThe company has also announced that its Canadian Accident & Health division has appointed Dave Claughton as sales underwriting manager and Jan Hughes as product and operations manager.

Head of Domestic Accident & Health, Joyce Segall, said; “We are excited to expand into Canada with local talent and expertise to help develop and grow the local accident & health market.”

Chief Agent and Country Executive, Hano Pak, added; “Starr continues to expand its capabilities for many of our brokers and insureds, and we are pleased to announce our Accident & Health Division. We offer a leading edge approach that provides additional benefits where our differentiator is innovation and service for corporate and specialty clients such as employer groups, associations, schools, and nonprofit organizations.”
