Starr names Igor Di Beo as CEO of Brazil

Starr, an insurance and investment organisation, has appointed Igor Di Beo as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brazil, effective 23rd March 2026.

Starr logoDi Beo succeeds Cristina Domingues, who will continue as a member of the Starr Brazil board to help ensure a smooth transition.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Starr said, “Her contributions over the years have been instrumental in establishing Starr as a leader in the Brazilian specialty insurance market.”

Di Beo brings nearly three decades of industry experience spanning both Brazil and Europe. He joins Starr from HDI Seguros, where he served as Underwriting Non-Motor and Claims Vice President.

Prior to that, he held various senior leadership roles at AXA, including Chief Risk Officer, Chief Underwriting Officer AXA Seguros, Head of Claims, and most recently Vice President Underwriting, Distribution and Marketing.

Earlier in his career, Di Beo also held positions at Allianz and AGF.
