Swiss Re, a global provider of reinsurance, insurance and risk transfer solutions, has announced the appointment of Laura Perry as Head of Regional & Large Clients for the UK and Ireland, with a focus on Property.
The company highlighted Perry’s strong relationships with clients and brokers, together with her extensive underwriting expertise, as key strengths that will support its continued commitment to delivering high-quality service and solutions for clients and broker partners across the region.
Perry brings more than 12 years of underwriting experience to the role. She has spent the past five and a half years at Swiss Re, most recently serving as Lead Underwriter UKI – Property Treaty, following earlier positions as Senior Property Treaty Underwriter and Property Treaty Underwriter.
Before joining Swiss Re, Perry spent almost six years at Chubb, where she held roles including Property Underwriter for Chubb Bermuda International and Underwriter for High Net Worth Household and Motor.
She began her underwriting career at Synergy Insurance Services, progressing from Underwriting Assistant to Development Underwriter in Personal Lines.
