Global reinsurer Swiss Re has appointed Teodora Aldenhoff as Chief Pricing Actuary for Life & Health (L&H) Continental Europe.
In her new role, Aldenhoff will join Swiss Re’s leadership team and report directly to Augusto Diaz-Leante, Head of Life & Health Continental Europe, Managing Director of Swiss Re.
She has spent the past 15 years at Swiss Re, holding roles including L&H Valuation Actuary and Structurer Reinsurance – Global Portfolio Management.
Most recently, Aldenhoff served as Senior Structurer & Transaction Manager for L&H Structured Solutions EMEA.
In a recent LinkedIn post, Diaz-Leante said, “Teodora brings a rare combination of technical depth and strategic perspective. At Swiss Re, she most recently led complex L&H Structured Solutions deals across EMEA, consistently operating at the intersection of innovation and execution. A UK-qualified actuary with a Master’s in Financial Mathematics, she embodies both rigour and forward thinking.
