Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of reinsurance giant Swiss Re, has appointed Kevin Bates as Country Head of Australia & New Zealand, effective November 4th, 2024.
Bates succeeds Christine Bell, who has decided to retire and will be based in Sydney.
In this position, Bates will hold responsibility for leading the team to further implement the company’s group strategy in the local markets, as well as deepen client relationships and continue to deliver differentiated solutions and services to customers.

Established in 2007, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions offers a range of commercial insurance solutions, including property, liability, financial lines, and construction insurance policies and products to the Australian and New Zealand Markets.
The firm is also a provider of alternative risk transfer solutions, such as parametric insurance and other structured solutions to regional corporate customers.
