Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of reinsurance giant Swiss Re, has appointed Richard Alexander as Head Property East.
In his new role, Alexander will lead Swiss Re CorSo’s East Property team, supporting underwriting performance, profitable growth, and continued collaboration with clients and brokers across the region.
He has over three decades of experience across reinsurance broking, property underwriting, and leadership in the corporate insurance space.
For nearly 16 years, Alexander has served as the Vice President, Property Team Leader for the global large insurer, Zurich Global Corporate in North America.
Prior to that, from 2004 to 2010, he served as the Eastern Regional Property Manager for American International Group, Inc., a global insurance and financial services organisation providing property and casualty insurance, life and retirement solutions.
