Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Annemarie Büttner as Lead Climate Risk Solutions.
Making the announcement on LinkedIn, Büttner said: “In my new role, I work with corporations that need to understand how they will be impacted by climate change and how to manage the risks that they face.”
Moreover, as part of Swiss Re’s Risk Engineering, Climate Risk Solutions also contains the development of mitigation and adaptation strategies and support with the reporting of climate risks.
As a nat cat enthusiast, Büttner will bring a deep level of expertise towards her new role.
Büttner joins Swiss Re from CelsiusPro where she served as a Climate Risk and Insurance Consultant. Within this role, she provided climate risk insights and solutions services for global corporations.
Prior to that, she served for five years at Zurich. She started her tenure at Zurich as a Catastrophe Risk Modeler, before being promoted to Senior Natural Catastrophe Analyst.
